Yayy! So.. since Minh-Vu's apartment didn't burn down, we were able to get some things done Monday night. :]  We discussed ways to collaborate with other health and/or Asian-related clubs and so far, we've already spoken to Chinese Student Association (go Andy, Alana, and Michelle!), Association of Chinese Americans (who I've yet to get a response from), and gotten an invitation to participate in the Cultural Affairs Committee Worldfest!.. the list goes on!  At this rate, it seems like we'll be able to host a whole range of events.. from tabling to fundraisers.. to documentary screenings.. just from working with these other organizations.  AHH! Super excited. We also discussed what exactly our Team HBV members will be doing--primarily HBV education and volunteering at health fairs.  We're going to create our member app this winter break and then hopefully jumpstart things from there.  Sam also has already been on the roll to getting us the De Neve Auditorium to host our "Another Life" documentary screening.  She spoke to her RA and will be talking to the Office of Residential Life about booking the room.  WOOHOO! I loveeeee uuuuuus. More very eventful officer meetings to come fosho.

HAPPY PRE-THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

Couldn't open the windows in time or turn on any fans .. goes to show how well-trained we are to become health professionals.. well, here we go. "Another Life" with burnt popcorn!

Yay! We're getting together again for the fourth time this year, on Monday night, to watch "Another Life", as part of a screening test before we organize our first documentary-viewing event.  :]  Last time, we came up with ideas to link with other health and Asian-related organizations to fuse our events together.. perhaps, a Jade Ribbon Dance, Jr. after Duke with our Chinese Cultural Dance Club? ^^  Can't wait to discuss more options along the way! We're finally got approved as a club on campus, so that's definitely a thumbs-up.. and Minh-Vu's been charged with a goal to raise at least $1000 this school year.. ahahaha I think it can be done. * transform into korean wannabe* --> AJA AJA FIGHTING!

Wootwoot! So, as our UCLA Team HBV President, Andy Tien, is off enjoying his posh hotel room at the Stanford Park Hotel, his minions are back at home ready to get chummy chummy at their own party. :]  We're getting together at approximately 1:30 this afternoon to watch the Team HBV Collegiate Conference live-streamed from EV.  Hopefully we'll get some inspiration from the other Team HBV chapters' presentations and also stay awake long enough to watch The Hep B Project. :P It's kay, we have Alana's arare treats and Minh-Vu's ordering Chinese... excellent. Sorry Andy that you're missing out! ;P
