1 year 9 months ago, I stopped eating meat, fish... As a kind of pray for the people especially kids who were dead in Wenchuan earthquake.

Almost no one around me thought a person who eat meat every meal can stop eating in one night, but I did it. When I show the pictures from the earthquake, I can't stop crying and stop killing as pray was one of few things that I can do at that time.

2 days later, my friends and I decided to do something more, we notice that not the people in Sweden don't really know how serious the earthquake was, don't know how many people dead, don't know they need help.... don't know how they can help.

The next day, we designed some poster with pictures and how online donation address, I asked our school to sponsor us to print hundreds out so we can spread it to the whole city.  We contact the Red Cross  and borrowed more than 10 donation boxes. The same day in the afternoon, we went to the city center will posters start telling the people what's happening in Wenchuan and they need their help. People started put money in the donation box, 10 kr, 100 kr, 500kr.... There was one scene that I will never forget, a dad will a kid came to us, without donate the money directly he start explain to his daughter  what happened in Wenchuan and why they need help, after this, the father give the money to the girl and ask her to put the money in the box.

In 2 afternoon, we collected more than 22,000 kr not include the online donation.

During this thing I realize how important to "ask" people to help the people in need. Most of time, people would like to donate or volunteer but don't know how and where to. The internet is a perfect way to spread the "asking" information especially for the young generation.

That's why I feel EV is a great idea and everyone should be involved.
