Business

Bake Sale:        There was not as much turnout because of the bad weather. Team A revenue: 120. Team B revenue: 202. Some things that well and suggestions for the future are: Brownies and chocolate chip cookies sold well. There is more foot traffic on Saturday vs Sunday. Maybe we should start later than 11am.

Blood Drive:     When tabling, make sure to look over the form when the donor has turned it in. If they have not included their phone number, urge them to do so. We will be coordinating with the ARC in terms of tabling and chalking in the future.

Hoops for Hep B:          Event takes place on Dec. 5, 2009 in the RSF. The name changed from Basket Brawl to Hoops for Hep B. We also need more funding. Katarina and Greg will write for an ASUC grant. The entrance fee for Hoops for Hep B will be $100. We need to find a way to decrease costs. One way brought up was to decrease prizes and number of T-Shirts. We decided that only the top two teams will get T-shirts. Only the top team will get a cash prize.

Stand Against Poverty: This event takes place in 145 Dwinelle from 5-8pm on Friday Oct 16, 2009. Rebecca and David will attend this event.

Health Summit:            Health Summit is this Saturday Oct. 17, 2009 most likely from 7-9pm in Senate Chambers. Different clubs on campus will be involved and each give a quick presentation about their club and events they put on. Katarina will give a 5 minute PowerPoint presentation to the group concerning our club and events. All officers should go. Also, member involvement is necessary for the Health Summits ultimate success.

Adjournment: 8pm
