My name is James McDonough, and I have just graduated from Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I plan to attend the University of North Carolina at their School of the Arts Campus to receive an education in Film and Video Production, and Liberal Arts and Sciences. I am involved in many activities that benefit my school and community because I believe in the basic goals of humanitarianism, and in the Christian values I have come to learn and accept. There is no excuse for not taking the time to make your surroundings better, and I plan to try to improve whatever community or environment I am placed in with the help of an education and scholarship.
