Feel free to apply to be a home team member for GSMDM.  I know many of you guys might have missed the Field team deadline (yesterday), but don't be discouraged!  Feel free to apply for a home team position!  Everyone can contribute in some way or another to help the truly needy!

This is an invitation spread by Drifting Pretty, the first all-girls drifting team in the United States. They're goal is to get females out into the tracks and RACE!

Hello all you FEMALES out there!

Are any of you interested in going to a one day driving school for under $100? This event will be held at Auto Speedway. Driving school for less than $100--that's unheard of--VERY CHEAP! Not only will you be able to have a full day of autocrossing, there you ladies will be provided instructors whom will sit by your side and instruct you on driving strategies (e.g. how to improve line, angle, speed, etc etc). Trust me...this will BE SUPERRR FUN....best of all, the track is reserved for ONLY lady drivers. If there are men/boys there, it'll only be because they're picking up/setting up cones.

Anyway, if any of you ladies are interested or guys who know girls who are interested, message me because this event is around the last week of November, so the clock's ticking! Drifting Pretty will also be there, and in case anyone's unfamiliar with Drifting Pretty, they're a program focused on the advancement of women in racing. You ladies are definitely welcome to talk to and get tips from our members as well as instructors, such as Drifting Pretty Vice President Benson Hsu (experienced off-roader, seasoned D1 driver and drifting instructor...awarded many competition prizes), Drifting Pretty President Nadine Hsu (formerly Nadine Toyoda...off-roading expert, stunt driver for Tokyo Drift, seasoned D1 driver, and winner of countless awards), and many other instructors. Don't miss out, girls! This is a GREAT opportunity to not only gain exposure in racing, improve your style of driving, but also have fun! Anyway, message me or call me if anyone's interested!

Hi!

As part of Bear `N Love, an organization founded at Cypress College, I would like to inform everyone that we are collecting bears and toys for third world countries!  This year, we are going to be collecting bears for children in Vietnam and will be donating them to GSMDM.  If anyone would like to donate, please contact me at julievan@gsmdm.org.  We'd greatly appreciate that!  If you're interested in getting donations for your organization, please feel free to contact me as well!

Thanks,

Julie Van

Hi Everyone!

I've been looking into this for a bit of time now!  I want some input if you guys have any!  I've been looking to do some international mission trips.  I was thinking maybe Africa, South America, Asia, or wherever God may take me.  Do you guys have any suggestions on an affordable mission trip that actually allows volunteers to do work?

Thanks,

Julie Van

So....I've noticed that my rank has dropped from #6 to #10!  Wow, Eastvillagers.com really has grown large in number and activity over such a short period of time!  It's great seeing how well we've progressed!  I'm more excited now than even before!  I hope everybody is doing well!   I hope to see you all in less than two weeks! =)
