The SF Giants partnered with the SF Hep B Free Campaign during Asian Heritage Week. Campaigns reps educated ballpark attendees and took place in a home plate ceremony with Giants player Dave Roberts.

For a second year the SF Giants partnered with the SF Hep B Free campaign to bring awareness of hepatitis B and liver cancer to attendees.

We held a huge community dinner, attended by over 500 people to kick off the campaign in April 2007

September 17, 2008, the day of the first SF Hep B Free Gala, Dr. John Ward, Head of the Division of Viral Hepatitis at the CDC came to SF to announce the release of the new MMWR recs that expanded screening suggestions.
