2006年5月23日，由上海新联康投资顾问有限公司出资200万元成立了北京市西部阳光农村发展基金会，“西部阳光行动”由原来的草根NGO发展成为专业服务于西部农村教育的民间基金会，实现了历史性的转变。

北京市西部阳光农村发展基金会在许多爱心人士和爱心企业的支持下，通过扎扎实实的服务行动彰显自己的理念和价值，做出品牌和特色。

On May 23rd 2006 Shanghai New Lian Kang Investment and Consultation CO.,LTD invested 2 million RMB to found the Beijing Western Sunshine Rural Development Foundation, which historically transformed the “Western Sunshine Action” from theprevious grassroots NGO to a foundation dedicated to ameliorating ruraleducation in West China.

Under the support of many philanthropic individuals and enterprise, thefoundation highlighted our ideas and values, forged our brands and formed
our own characters through the down-to-earth service.
