Despite the poor performance today by Zheng Jie, losing to Justine Henin 6-1 6-0...she's more than that. She donated her 2008 Wimbledon pay check to ChengDu earthquake victims. How awesome is that?
Who watched the Colts game today? Who saw the huge play?
People that follow football, Colts, Pierre Garcon, AKA play of the day, and want to donate to Haiti (he's haitian) click here: Garcon is giving just a bit more incentive to donate, even though we shouldn't need any: http://garconauthentic.com/

As I sit here, today I realize how good I have it... 75% of the world lives less than $2 a day can you believe that. Gotta be thankful for what I have...and keep focused...grandpa, barking for you...
I wish it was easier to keep focused in america, so that we don't need a missions trip to wake us up...it's hard when you surrounded by somuch stuff.
My grandpa was supposed to fallinto a coma 2 weeks ago, but he's still fighting and surviving...thank you for your prayers...I still hope his heart can be broken and that he'll accept Jesus as his savior...
Still keeping the faith....told my grandap I wnated him to believe in Jesus, but forgot the gospel message...still good though still g odo God is faithful.
I'm going to do it today, the gospel to my grandpa 3rd to last day...man this is all God...no matter what i need to have peace and joy and trust in his provision.
Hope your day has gone well. I landed in France 2 days ago oh the 29th in the morning. God's definitely been good since I've gotten over my jetlag real quick, and I'm just trying to keep my focus on why I'm here. Mission purposes sort of : ) It's sort of personal so if you PM me I can let you know. However France is cold right now and yup, it's quite early over here. I am starting to enjoy blogging here. I will have a VLOG from france soon, but as for right now I'll post like I promised my vid before I left ; ) Hope you all doing well!
So I was browsing YouTube, and I found out that they support NONPROFITS! This is something that a lot of the organizations on here could benefit from, and even East Villagers themselves. Check it out! I'll paste a few of the first paragraphs here and the link is here :
"Does your organization have a compelling story to tell? Do you want to connect with your supporters, volunteers, and donors but don't have the funds to launch expensive outreach campaigns?
Video is a powerful way to show your organization's impact and needs, and with a designated "Nonprofit" channel on YouTube, you can deliver your message to the world's largest online video community."
Anyways, I'll be heading out of the country soon, in a few days but I do plan to keep posting here and show you more of my travels over there. Time flies and the year is almost over. And I'm almost over with Crazy Love and Hosea...I like where east villagers is heading. There's a lot of quality content and a higher quantity as well. God is definitely working in this site. Awesome job Nancy and Peter. And great blogging, Alena, Ariel, and Monica. i have yet to check others, so many blogs! Here's the fun video for today, this one's actually doable: : ) HAVE A BLESSED DAY!
I want to thank Nancy, first of all for fixing my 2nd blog, I can now put the video in. If you're trying to embed a video, you need to click the SOURCE button next to the size, and then paste it. : ) Check it out here
I've been reading this book by Francis Chan called Crazy Love. It's worth checking out definitely. I don't read much so if I do read, you know it's good. He's a pastor and is huge on welfare. He's from california and really puts things into perspective such as wealth, poverty, our life, and what we're living for. Definitely would be a great catalyst for what EastVillagers is all about. : ) Let me know if you have more questions. I also want to go to Asia, don't know when though. Also for all you tennis players out there, this will be your fun for the weekend. I think I should post a video on Crazy Love.
Post your responses on eastvillagers and I'll see if you can beat them maybe we can see if we can get balls for donations or something. : )
HOLLAAAA!!! So things have been going crazy, I'm going to travel soon and yeah more on that later, but I think to tie in with East Villagers I will also post video blogs on here as well. I just got a webcam yesterday and started filming and we'll see how it goes and where God leads, seriously. Okay apparently, it doesn't work when I embed it below so here we go: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iy2lsBH7NfE
Had a nice catch-up with the owner of this site yesterday Nancy. Definitely got to hear more of the vision of the site and saw the improvements on this site, since I've been a bit dormant since May. With that said, yes I am strongly considering to make this my blog home. : )
So let me talk about this program real quick. The main purpose of this missions trip is to go to Nantou, Taiwan, to teach English, through music and dance, to kids 1st graders through 8th graders. Think of it like a summer camp they sign up for. They know it's a Christian camp though. In the 2 weeks that are there, you teach 2 different classes, 1 class for the first week and 1 for the next week. You stay in the dormitories as well, and you eat with the kids there as well. This was my first missions trip, and you know, I definitely believe God is working there. By the way, their main focus is on the aboriginals (2% of Taiwan right now), because the kids usually come from families that have dads whom struggle with alcoholism and gambling. They are also looked down upon by city kids. Mm...that's all for now. I think there are still spots. I'm going to try to get the leader to join this.
