The CARE Foundation; Senior Volunteer at wildlife refuge: In charge of animal care, feeding, cage building for 4 hours a week, 1200 total hours (2003-Present)

Broadway’s Class Act: Member & Company Manager: Broadway’s Class Act is an audition-only troupe founded by Florida Theatrical Association. Assistant to Artistic Director; organized rehearsals and coordinated troupe members’ schedules; soloist in group performances. 500 total hours (2006-2008)

Campaign for Change: Volunteer: Voter registration, canvassing, and phone banking for 10 hours a week, 100 total hours. (2008)

St. Stephen’s Catholic Community: Team Leader for confirmation retreat team and Music Minister for confirmation and middle school retreats, 125 total hours (2008-present)

Benefit Concert for Victims of Darfur
In February 2009, YDA organized a benefit concert for victims of genocide in Darfur, Sudan. The concert was called “Stop the Madness”, which featured seven local high school and college rock bands. The event was held in the HHS auditorium, and was the first event of its kind (a rock concert) in Hagerty history. We raised nearly $2000, and donated one hundred percent of it to the International Rescue Committee, a non-profit association that oversees refugee camps in both Darfur and neighboring Chad.
