Landscape Photography Club: 11, 10, 9
President/Creator of Club
This is a club I proposed and created after I had seen an article about a non profit called Hope In Bloom. The club takes landscape photographs and makes them into greeting cards. These cards are sold at various fairs and coffee shops during the year. Proceeds go to Hope in Bloom whom plants gardens free of charge in and at the home of breast cancer patients. I also arrange for area photographers to come and speak and teachers to help us learn the photoshop programs. Presently we are trying to do a fundraiser to auction famous women photographers work. The club has been recognized in The Boston Sunday Globe, Channel 5 News, The Sharon Advocate, J Choice website, Teen Choice website, and has had a gallery showing in a local shop. In May of 2010 we will plant our first of many gardens.

Community service program that integrates high school students with the special needs students in an after school program and one on one activities. I have learned a great deal about vision impairment through my buddy Jake and his family, as well as the other special needs in the program. The children are so special to me; the simplest tasks can make their day.
