Description
Project Kenya & Safari 15 Days Highlights, Volunteer Project & Tours Masai Mara, Naivasha/Nakuru Description. Do make a difference while traveling on this adventure highlighted up by 7 days hands –on volunteer project sum up this great Kenyan experience with some amazing game viewing by safari vans into the world reknown Maasai Mara National Game Reserve one of the seven wonders of the world. Trip Overview. Day 1- Arrival and settling down.
Day 2- 8 Community Volunteer Project Wangusu. Spend 7 days participating in the Wangusu Community Volunteer Program. During your stay you will have the opportunity to interact with children and other members of the community while assisting in local schools, building, and refurbishment projects and sports development initiatives, no experience nessessary.A guided tour of the great lake Victoria included. Day 9 Leave Wangusu for Masai Mara via Kericho exploring the breath taking scenery of the Kenyan highlands tea growing farms. Arrive at enchoro wildlife camp for lunch relax till 0400pm when you head for a game view
Day 10: Nairobi/Masaai Mara Leave Nairobi in the morning at 8.30 am drive to the view point of the great rift valley, descend the escarpment and drive via Narok then to Masai Mara for lunch at the campsite followed by afternoon game drive in Maasai Mara famous for its black manned lions and yearly migration of wildebeests, dinner and overnight at the campsite. Day 11: Masaai Mara. A full day spent game viewing a cross the rich, trees tudded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-manned lions, leopard and cheetah but also contains numerous elephant and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya. All meals and over night in the campsite. Day 12: Masaai Mara/L.Nakuru Pre breakfast game drive, return to campsite for late breakfast and leave your campsite and proceed to L.Nakuru arriving in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Nakuru
Day 13: Nakuru/Nairobi After early morning breakfast proceed for a game drive in L.Nakuru National park known for it’s millions of flamingoes and other water birds. Leave Nakuru after lunch for Nairobi arriving mid or late afternoon. Day 14: Debriefing presentation of certificates and Fairwell end of program. Day 15: Departure
