Project Information
Description
A large number of students in Vietnam lack exposure to valuable skills necessary to be successful in the 21st century economy. Specifically, they lack sufficient English and computer skills as well as how to apply the concepts of leadership and mentorship.
Our main objective is to develop English teaching skills and to articulate the importance of community service.
SEALNet Project Vietnam 2006 seeks to enhance English teaching and learning capacities in Da Nang by leveraging technology and providing mentorship and leadership workshops for students from all over Vietnam, including rural regions.
We held a two-week program provided to address the needs we have identified. Technology was integrated into the curriculum to expose the students to new methods in the modern world. In addition, we held workshops to learn leadership and mentorship skills.
