Project Information
Description
We are looking for volunteers to help out during the 5th Annual Asian Heritage Street Celebration on Saturday, May 16, 2009 in San Francisco! We will have 2 stages, Thai kickboxing, carnival rides & games, lots of Asian-themed arts & crafts vendors, shopper incentives, great food, free hepatitis B screening, a dance contest, a raffle benefiting San Francisco public schools, and much, much more. We need your help to make sure the fair runs smoothly.
So come volunteer, have fun and make new friends! |
Project Date/Time
5/16/2009 from 10:00 AM to 5:15 PM

Host
AsianWeek Foundation

Location
This year, we will be near the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco (Larkin at McAllister), which is in the dynamic area and evolving Civic Center / Little Saigon neighborhood. We will be adjacent to the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium where the Bay to Breakers Expo will be taking place at the same time. We are working to cross-promote our event so this should mean even more attendees than ever! The area is centrally located and convenient via both Muni and BART – and the freeway.
