Dear friends, fellow students, parents and community members,
My name is Grace Chen. I am an 8 years old golfer and I am rolling out a donation program to support childhood leukemia diseases research to save more kids’ life. Leukemia is the most common childhood cancer, affecting more than 3,500 children in the U.S. every year. or worldwide 250,000 children and adults are diagnosed with some form of leukemia. This represents about 2.5% of all persons diagnosed with cancer. I am reaching out to you for help. Anything you can do for my efforts would be greatly appreciated.
How does it work?
Last year, I was qualified and played at two world junior golf championships and competed with the best junior golfers from all over the world.I am going to play those two world championships again this year and I am enlisting the support from friends, family members, schoolmates and neighborhood. You may pledge three dollars or more per birdie scored by me during the world championships that I would play. Or you may pledge a one-time donation of any amount.
Where does the donated money go?
All donations will go to Lucile Packard Children's Hospital (LPCH) to support Dr. Gary Dahl’s research and care for the children with ALL (Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia) or other childhood leukemia diseases. Dr. Dahl is a world renowned oncology expert and pediatrician in leukemia disease research and treatment at Department of Hematology and Oncology, LPCH.
How can you make the donation?
Please mail your donation checks, payable to Gracious Life Foundation, which is a non-profit organization, to the following address:

P.O. Box 60523
Sunnyvale, CA 94088
Where can you track my scores?
My scores on each round at those world championships will be posted on-line daily so it’s easy to follow my performance.

I need everybody’s prayer and support for my upcoming world championship and Birdie for ALL project. With your support and encouragement I will definitely be motivated to perform at my best and achieve my goal of scoring well in the championships and helping the good cause of leukemia disease research and treatment.
Please feel free to spread the message to whoever you feel might be interested in supporting this effort and helping our kids.
Thank you very much.
Best regards,
Grace Chen
