ASSET India Foundation gives hope for a better future to girls who are rescued from trafficking for prostitution, and children of sex workers. The Foundation provides English language training, computer education and helps in job placement after training. There are presently eight locations in India. The plan is to expand to 50 identified centers, across India and to extend the benefit to the target population in neighboring countries of Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, in strategic partnership with SMILE Foundation – already serving marginalized children and youth all across India, on a similar platform.
