Description There are many people in distant places who are in desperate need of modern medical care, public health education, humanitarian aid and development. Roots International Peace Corps(RIPC), a non-profit organization, exists to fill that need. RIPC plans to organize teams of talented medical personnel with enthusiastic volunteers, including young volunteers from colleges, pre-medical and medical schools, to form medical service groups. The team of RIPC doctors, dentists, pharmacists, medical laboratory technicians, nurses and volunteers will provide free medical care as well as educational health material to the local population.
