Description The Harvard College Association for U.S.-China Relations (AUSCR) is founded with the purpose of promoting Harvard College students' interest in China, especially in economic and political issues, and to facilitate the interchange of ideas and opportunities between Harvard College students and their Chinese peers. It seeks to foster leadership, scholarship, and citizenship in students of both countries through three main courses of action, focusing on education, advocacy, and exchange. The association will hold on-campus discussion groups and speaker series on current issues concerning U.S.-China relations. It will generate official memos written by Chinese and Harvard College students and send them to diplomatic units in both countries to voice the students' views and concerns... (more)
