that is from the website. even if you may not have the same beliefs, i do think that this video still brings up a good message about how instead of all the gifts we give how about we give the gift of our own time to hang out with family and friends. Not just always meeting up for a reunion once a year but actually hanging out and spending time with our loved ones?

 4cthepower recently held workshops in Hacienda Heights during the first weekend of Nov. The 1st workshops were at Wilson High School with various mentors who came and taught workshops to the students. The 2nd workshop was at the 4cthepower office in Hacienda Heights. These workshops were lead by Gamblerz Crew from South Korea. For those of you who do not know them.. They are best known for winning first place at Battle of the year 2004 & 2009 and the R-16 Korea Sparkling in 2008 as well as various other international competitions.

The students who attended these workshops had such a blast. It was awesome being able to see students learn from their idols and being that much more motivated and inspired to pursue their dreams.

Here are some of the comments from the students who attended the workshops:

"I thought it was sooooo wonderful to see so many kids out dancing and REALLY enjoying themselves! I couldn't stop smiling. I think the Gamblerz did a wonderful thing here. Kids should have the means to develop themselves and their identities, and what better way to learn to express yourself? Very inspirational to watch!

The music artist I really enjoyed was the Vision guy, I couldn't keep my feet still after a few minutes. And of course Gamblerz knocked my socks off but I'm sure that goes without saying."

those are just a few of the wonderful feedback we got from the students. Hopefully everyone can participate in future 4cthepower workshops.

My dad actually got this video sent to him in an email. He watched it and was so moved that he made me watch it. I was kind of hesitant at first because I realized that the video was 4 minutes. It turned out to be one of the most moving 4 minutes of my life. The story line is about a deaf/mute girls struggle to play the violin while everything is against her. I haven't seen a commercial this inspiring in a while. It got me teary eyed and so pumped up and motivated at the end. and this isn't just ANY commercial.. this is a shampoo commercial for Pantene! who knew a SHAMPOO commercial could be THIS INSPIRING?! 

I hope you take a break from whatever you are doing to watch this and I hope it has an impact on you as it did on me.
