We discussed racial profiling in class today, and I now pose the question to you- is it beneficial, or detrimental to society? Poeple were split on the issue, although most sided with the latter. How can we prejudge anyone in this society? I feel like racial profiling would contribute to prejudice as well.

A good point that someone else brought up is that if one has actual security camera footage, then the police can try to find that person through profiling. Others, however, have said that we will create second-class citizens if we profile without information.

What do you think?
