This is just a 'post' about something else that I'm working on at UC Berkeley (inspired by Jen, the idea of posting O:])

As a part of ASUC (Associated Students of the University of California), which is the student government here at Cal, I've put together a group/coalition dubbed "Cal Health Coalition." This health coalition is for the purpose of bringing together various student organizations that are somehow related to health to collaborate on projects and events that help with health advocacy and community-building.

I don't know if this is something that any other campuses are doing, but it's something that I know Cal has been hoping to make for a while.  There have been many past efforts, all of which failed to withstand time.

With the Health Coalition, we are hoping to end that trend, and create something that will become a trademark of UC Berkeley; a true embodiment of both diversity and unity.

We pride ourselves so much on being a diverse campus, and on being able to come together to stand up for causes.  As students interested in health, we are no exception.  With that in mind, I decided to try to make this happen.
